"Since 1953 God has been blessing our calling and on May 20, 2009 we graduated 213 young people empowered to serve God and the communities in which they live."

We have come so far as a Christian community. Over half a century ago, in 1953, our Founders had a vision for the growing population of this region.
Initially, the eight-room facility accommodated two hundred thirty students; however, decades of population growth and rising enrollment would expand our campus time and again.
In 1999, our Unity Christian constituency recognized that educational needs and building limitations were on a collision course. The Association charted a new direction to leave the outmoded and outdated behind and target a contemporary campus equipped for the 21st century. Thankfully, our remodeling days were over.
The initial capital campaign of 2000 has been such a blessing. We are so grateful to each donor, each individual or family who has given gladly. Because of your generosity, we were able to purchase the real estate and break ground the following spring. Because you share our vision, the wonderful new athletic facilities on 48th Street are a reality. And because you gave again, we could lay the groundwork for the new building, add more parking and create the north driveway in the fall of 2007. With design concepts and architectural drawings in hand, it is time to go; we are eager to sprint to the finish line.
Today, we continue to empower our students with the knowledge and skills they need for the 21st century. This is a time when educational excellence is seen to go hand-in-hand with up-to-date facilities. The average high school student spends most waking hours at school through extracurricular activities. And we want them to have this be the best education and safest environment possible. "Educational excellence in a Christian Community" is our motto, and now it is time to build the new school on the 48th Avenue Campus.
Sincerely,
Jack Postma
